Opened in 1940, Aruba Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in the Bahamas. Locals and tourists look to this course for an inexpensive and challenging game. This desert course, located on the southeastern coast of Aruba, provides what is considered a very unusual game due to the oiled sand greens and wandering goats that roam on and around the course. Goats are not the only animal golfers will encounter on this Astroturf course, though, several burrowing owls have made this course their home. In addition to the wildlife, Aruba Golf Club provides a challenging game with twenty sand traps and five water hazards strategically placed throughout the course.
