South Ocean Golf & Beach Resort

Joe Lee originally designed the course at the South Ocean Golf & Beach Resort but Greg Norman later made several renovations. The golf course, located in southwest New Providence Island, was changed to better utilize the undulating terrain and natural lakes and wetlands. The result of the later improvements was a diverse layout with a gently rolling front nine and a very different experience on the back nine. The course was also lengthened and fairways were widened to improve playability. In addition to the challenging game, South Ocean Golf & Beach Resort offers scenic views with lush Bahamian forest throughout and two memorable, lagoon-like holes that connect to the ocean.
