Instead of the oceanfront views, this course surrounds golfers in a lush and verdant environment that features dense tropical vegetation. The course has an interesting layout with a relatively straightforward front nine that plays parallel to the ocean and a tighter back nine that requires both precision and strategy. There is more water on Treasure Bay Golf Club's back nine, including duck ponds that are inhabited by exotic wildlife. Bunkering is sparse, but they are strategically places so as to provide maximum challenge. The natural undulations of the terrain combined with well-placed contouring provide even more challenge.
