The golf course at Apes Hill Club has a versatile design that appeals to both beginners and more advanced players, but the spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and coral rock quarries are the major draw of this course. Green monkeys have also been spotted in the wooded ravines that are sprinkled through the course. Although the generous fairways are forgiving, there are strategically placed bunkers for some challenge. The golf course requires accuracy with its moderately-sized, contoured greens and multiple tees that allow for shorter carries and different routes around the hazards. The Apes Hill Club also offers a large practice facility for golfers to work on their short game.

Beautiful looking course, but if you hire the clubs beware the bunkers are very course grained and compacted and the sand wedges provided are not very good.
Very over priced even by Caribbean standards, perhaps when the new club house opens the facilities will justify the premium price(the course itself does not)

Had the distinct pleasure of playing this course recently on a family trip to Barbados. Our hotel had a deal with the club, so green fee wasn't too bad. This is a big planned residential development that only has a few houses built, but that doesn't really affect the overall experience. The people here (and all over Barbados) were extremely courteous and helpful. Golf wise, the front 9 is very pleasant and a good challenge, with views towards the west coast. The 4th and 5th were gorgeous holes, framed by tropical forests and changes in elevation. The back 9 was simply astonishing, taking you over the top to views of the east of the island. It is hard to describe holes 12-16, each of them total masterpieces carved from the jungle and across ravines. My father almost aced the 12, whilst about 6 monkeys watched curiously from a nearby tree! 13 is as good a par 4 anywhere in the world. 16 is a natural wonder. This course has perhaps the best set of par 3s I have and will ever play. Fantastic golfing experience, highly recommended.

Good course, very friendly. Great condition, plus very quiet even in February, all round with one exception, the bunkers which were only raked once in the week that we were there.

This is the nicest course I have played in the Caribbean. The course is always in beautiful condition.

It is a great course for all levels. From the back tees it is extremely challenging. From the members tees I find the fairways very generous.

It is hard to describe the beauty of the course. I suggest you check out the apeshillclub.com site for incredible pictures of some of the holes. I particularly love the 12th and 14th holes.
