El Varadero Golf Club

Before the course at the El Veradero Golf Club was created, there had not been an 18-hole course in Cuba. The course runs along the sea following the tall palms of the shoreline. Saltwater lakes that are scattered throughout the landscape connect directly to the sea, a unique feature of this seaside course. The varied layout has two distinct nines with the front nine holes being less difficult than the back nine. El Veradero Golf Club's design allows golfers to practice several different technical elements with some greens that are open and others that are surrounded by sand traps and a mix of narrow and wide fairways that are lined with trees.
