Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort Curacao has a diverse landscape that consists of rolling hills and sandy beach. This championship course winds downhill along the Caribbean Sea through the "old plantation Blaauw." Some holes play above rocky seaside cliffs, offering scenery to complement the game. Golfers also occasionally see some of the exotic wildlife that inhabits the course including iguanas, flamingos, and white herons. The par-3 5th hole is particularly notable for its forty-foot drop over the ocean. Since it's official opening by the Prince of the Netherlands in 2001, Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort Curacao has been gaining popularity since not only does it offer a challenging and scenic game, it is also the only 18-hole course on the island.
