Pete Dye's Old Quarry Golf Course is a part of the Santa Barbara Plantation, a 1,500-acre gated community with the course, two marinas and the Hyatt Regency Curacao. Dye designed the holes at Old Quarry G.C. to be as close to natural as possible, with minimal shaping. During a round, you will experience ocean holes, bay side holes, marsh views of a rookery, mountain and valley view holes. The wind is constant, especially on the two opening holes along the ocean

- Beautiful course. Perfect layout. Greens are hard, but that will be better every year.Hard to play because you just can't hit the ball on the green. You have to lay up and either let it roll, or chip it on. The greens are so hard and divot proof. No back spin if it is dry. And it bounces like you hit a cart path.
Beautiful course and breath taking while making the long journey's between holes. You better bring your own balls and lot's of them. The pro shop is high and the balls are trained to disappear. Shot the highest score of my life but also had the longest drive. Give or take, this ain't you local yocal golf course. It is a work of art and worth at least 1 visit. I made two.Wonderful golf course in a fantastic setting. The golf course is challenging with a number of risk and reward holes.
