The Links at Casa de Campo is one of three golf courses, all designed by Pete Dye, offered at the venerable resort. Unlike the other two, the Links is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Dye infused some of his favorite elements including small, elevated greens and strategically placed waste areas. The fairways are generous, but the greens, in addition to their elevation, are well protected and difficult to read. There is extensive mounding and numerous sound traps situated throughout in addition to natural water hazards that come into play on five holes. The Links at Casa de Campo requires some sharp short game skills in order to get a good score.
