Putting greens are the redeeming factor
This course has seen better days. The driving range is small and has had a lot of play so not a lot of opportunity for regrowth, and the range balls are pretty beaten up but at least they were available. It’s a pretty normal layout until 11 when you have to drive through a factory to get to 12-16. Fairways were inconsistent, but not terrible. The greens were the best of anything on the course as they rolled consistently, and had minimal divot damage from local/tourist play.
Just wasn’t highly memorable. I’d play it for less than $40 if I just wanted to go out and practice my game, but not with guests or for more than that.
Great Course
We had an abosultely great round of golf. It felt like we had the whole course to ourselves. So our pace of play was what we wanted to play. We played it under 4 hours. The coruse cindition was good and the greens were true.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course, greens are best I’ve ever played!!!
Not the best
Pictures are deceiving. No sand in traps. Tee boxes and fairways a bit beat up. Greens inconsistent. Overall I had a good day, but I only paid $55 on a hot deal. If I had paid $110 would of been a bit more upset
Very poor conditions
The general layout is interesting but the greens were in very poor condition. The fairways and roughs were acceptable, sand traps were a little bit dry, but the greens were the worst greens I’ve seen in 30 years playing golf. After 3-4 holes we even considered ending the round and asking for a refund. Some staff were nice but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this course.
Great day on the course.
Course was in good condition and nice layout. Big fairways small greens.
Good Value
Golf now price made this course more enjoyable than the standard fees. Full price would have been over priced.
Hidden gem
If I didn’t see it on the golf now ap.. I would have never known it was there..
Course was beautiful and challenging..
Staff was extremely friendly and approachable
It was full amenities but a box lunch..
Golf paths were sometimes not paved but playing the course for the golf pass hot deal was the best
I would recommend this course even if your taxi driver had to ask for directions
Hidden Gem with Tons of Potential
This course is a potential gem. Fair track, beautiful fairways and awesome greens and teeboxes. Once new carts are in place and staff customer service training complete, i believe this will be one of the top four "go to" courses in the Dominican Republic. The Pro and General Manager, Carlos de Lanares Saez, is responsive and dedicated to those areas which need to improve. I look forward to returning..
Great Course
I think I was literally the only person on the course. I got to enjoy the beautiful scenery at my own pace. Staff was very friendly. Amazing experience for the price. Only negative was my golf cart was really slow.
First course played outside of the U.S.
After making my reservation online, I called to ask about club rentals and having a ride along. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. At check in, the staff was very inviting and friendly. They took payment for club rentals and my ride along with credit card. Range balls and tees were offered at no cost (which I thought was really nice since we have to pay for those in the U.S.)
The cart was provided to me by a very friendly guy named Gabriel. He loaded up my clubs and ice chest with cold water bottles. He was also very efficient when my cart battery died and needed to be replaced, helping with transferring my clubs and ice chest. The cart guy named Marcos was also very attentive and constantly came to check if I needed any snacks or ice cold drinks.
A very welcoming course and I would recommend this place to all golfers who love a comfortable day of 18 holes.
