White Witch at Rose HallThe White Witch Golf Course at Rose Hall snakes through Jamaica's historic, 5,000-acre Rose Hall Plantation. The name of the golf course comes from an island legend, Annie Palmer, the owner of the famous sugar plantation who was known for her use of witchcraft. Locals say that her spirit haunts the grounds today. Carved from granite hills, the course is spread over mountainous terrain that skirts the Caribbean Sea. Nearly all of the holes provide dramatic ocean views. Generous landing areas complement the fast, undulating greens that are flanked by carefully sculpted mounds. In addition to its famous namesake, the lush foliage and unique hilly landscape have made White Witch Golf Course at Rose Hall a popular destination for golfers of all skill levels.
