Berwind Country Club, located on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico, is an open golf course that is lush with flowering plants and natural streams. Formerly a coconut plantation, the verdant setting and cool ocean breezes provide a serene tropical atmosphere. The golf course features tree-lined fairways and small greens that are well guarded by bunkers. Lakes also create water hazards that come into play on eight holes. The course is quite challenging, especially from the back tees where the last three holes are some of the toughest on the island. Only members of Berwind Country Club are allowed to play the golf course on weekends but it is open to the public on certain days throughout the week.
