Rio Mar Beach Resort - Ocean Course
The Ocean Course is one of two courses at the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort, which is situated on over a mile of palm tree-covered beach. Nestled within towering mountains, the Ocean Course has elevated greens that offer spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The classic but challenging layout, designed by Tom and George Fazio, has made the course one of the most popular on the island. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play throughout. The signature hole is the 16th, which is a seaside par-3 that is considered one of the best holes in the Caribbean for both its challenge and beautiful views.

Locals seem to be able to cut in at their desire to practice on holes during our play. Greens staff constantly driving across the fairways in front of you no matter where you are in your swing.
We found their practice facilities to be nice. But there rush to get you out early doesn't allow you to utilize them as much as you would like.
The Ocean course was interesting and seemed to be in far better condition than what you could see of the river course.
Staff should visit the Boulders in AZ to see what a 5 star resort is like.
