Formerly a coconut plantation, Mount Irvine Bay Hotel & Golf Club is still lush with palm trees, bamboo groves, and colorful bougainvillea. The golf course is situated on the rolling hills of the northern coast of Tobago, offering undulating greens and a view of the Caribbean Sea from every hole. Water comes into play on four holes and there are bunkers strategically placed throughout. The layout features an interesting variety of holes consisting of five par 5s, eight par 4s, and five par 3s. One of Mount Irvine Bay Hotel & Golf Club's more difficult holes is the par-3 seventh, which features water to the left of the green and out-of-bounds to the right.
