Nestled in the hills of the North Port of Spain, St. Andrews Golf Club has a mountainous terrain that is densely forested. Founded in 1892, it is one of the oldest golf courses in Trinidad. Although it is the shortest championship course in the country at 6,555 yards, it still offers a great challenge. Unlike many other Caribbean golf courses, a flat lie is very rare on the undulating landscape of this course. Narrow fairways and carefully contoured greens in addition to water hazards and strategically placed bunkers make the course even more challenging. St. Andrews Golf Club's back nine is particularly difficult.
