Golf is just a small part of the beautiful offerings on St. Kitts

ST. KITTS -- With just one course on St. Kitts -- Royal St. Kitts G.C. -- this small island isn't a true golf destination yet. There are two more courses currently in construction, but they aren't likely to be ready for several years, leaving golfers no choice but to find other ways of entertainment.

The St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Royal Beach Casino is a great home base with all its amenities: the casino, a fine mix of restaurants, the golf course, the North Frigit Bay Beach and a spa.

No stay on the island is complete without a visit to the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park. The views of the coast and the rolling countryside soar for miles. End the day with a sunset cruise from Blue Water Safaris. An island tour or just a leisurely drive shows off the friendly nature of the locals, the scenery of the coast roads and the charm of the island's small towns and villages.

Dine out at the airy Spice Mill Restaurant on the secluded Cockleshell Beach. St. Kitts has a true Caribbean vibe that many visitors fall for.
